The FKF Premier League title race is now firmly in Gor Mahia’s hands.

After beating Murang’a Seal, K’Ogalo moved one step closer to yet another league crown with just two games left to play. One more win should be enough to seal the title and continue their dominance of Kenyan football.
Meanwhile, A.F.C. Leopards are still mathematically in the race, but realistically, they now need Gor Mahia to slip like Szoboszlai while also handling their own business.
And that is the problem.
Every time Gor looked vulnerable this season, Ingwe also seemed to drop points somewhere unexpected.
That is why many fans now believe the title race may already be decided.
Gor Mahia’s Experience Could Decide Everything
This is where Gor Mahia usually become dangerous.
Pressure.
Title run-ins.
Ugly away matches.
Mentally exhausting fixtures.
That is the environment where Gor traditionally thrive. Even when performances are not perfect, they know how to grind results when it matters most.
It is the difference between chasing a title and knowing how to win one.
AFC Leopards have improved massively this season and honestly look closer to becoming serious title contenders again. Their football has looked more organized, the fan energy has returned and there are clear signs of progress.
But Gor still carry that “Pep Guardiola tumekuwa hapa before” mentality.
And in Kenyan football, experience during the final weeks can decide everything.
The NSL Promotion Race Is Becoming Brutal
While the Premier League title race looks close to ending, the National Super League promotion battle is becoming chaos.

Right now, the strongest promotion contenders appear to be:
- 3K FC.
- Mombasa United
- Migori Youth
Mombasa United Look Built For Promotion
Mombasa United have quietly looked like one of the most complete teams in the NSL this season.
They are physical, experienced and know how to survive difficult away fixtures. Even when they are not playing beautiful football, they still find results.
That matters a lot in the NSL where some matches feel more like football survival tests than tactical battles.
Their mentality has looked strong during pressure moments and that could carry them over the line.
Migori Youth Are The Surprise Story
Migori Youth have earned respect this season.
They look disciplined, balanced and emotionally stable under pressure. Their recent results against direct rivals proved they are not just participating in the race – they genuinely believe they belong in the FKF Premier League.
And honestly, Kenyan football could use fresh regional stories and new fan energy.
What About 3K FC?
3K FC have had a decent campaign but probably left themselves with too much work to do, but now have the lead on the table.
They remain dangerous and organized, but inconsistency during key moments may cost them promotion. Still, they are one of those teams nobody wants to face late in the season.
Prediction
At this point:
- Gor Mahia look set to win the FKF Premier League.
- Mombasa United look strongest for the NSL title.
- Migori Youth have a serious chance of promotion.
- AFC Leopards may be building something dangerous for next season.
But this is Kenyan football.
So expect drama, controversy, panic, social media fights and at least one matchday where everybody suddenly becomes a football analyst on X.
